I figured it wouldn't hurt to join on back and take part in the fun. Looking back on my old portfolio is pretty embarrassing but that just reminds me I still have a ton of room to grow and learn even now.

So... Basically... I've got in the mail, hopefully, Canon 50mm f/1.4 USM lens, Lens hood, UV filter, and an extra battery for the rebel. This is all due to the fact that I have been contacted to be the photographer for a coffee table book....basically...No details can be released yet.  But the person who contacted me, a good friend, has a publisher lined up and interested, all the needs to be done is to send them three demo shots (after we go and get the photos).  I really think this will be an amazing project.  If anything, its something to add to the table. Visiting my g-p's.  They are awesome...having a great time, taking a bah-shitload of photos...trying to get them up on here a little later in the week.  I'm setting a goal...5000 pageviews by the end of summer...some how...I WILL get this...;) :P I'm looking to get some new glass for my camera... mixed between the 28mm f/1.8 (I think, cant remeber off my head now) 50mm f/1.4 vs 1.8 I'm now thinking, I'm going to try to grab the 28mm (1.6 factore = 45mm) and then on my own pick up the 1.8 50mm later...
